Education is one of the best blessings of Allah Almighty. The first Revelation brands the significance of education. After the inundation of Science and Technology, Technical Education has got an eminent importance. GCT, Faisalabad is a prominent institute that has been serving the country for more than five decades. The formulation of TEVTA added new horizons to Technical Education Imparting Process. The collaboration of TEVTA and JICA swayed a new rule of Technical skills and expertise. By the grace of Allah Almighty, this time GCT is offering the best academic environment and services. The classes are regularly conducted till the last day of the session. Special heed is given to the practical aspect of Technical Education. Monitoring teams comprising the senior and seasoned teachers daily look after the period conducting process. Monthly, Mid-Term and Send-up Tests are held in true letter and spirit. Parent-teacher meeting is periodically organized which works as a positive pressure on the student. Study tours and Industrial visits to equip the students with the real working environment are systematically arranged. Guest speakers from the industry are off and on invited for the technical grooming of the students. All this is the scenario that grants the college a fair name and elevated status in the province. It is the fruit of hard work of the students, interest of the teachers, cooperation of the parents and the support of the industry representatives that GCT got 22 Board positions in the Annual Exams, while Two students of Food and Textile Technology received the Gold Medal. I hope and pray for the same status of GCT in future, too.
